Beschreibung

The GreenKi UFR1 is a fingerprint and RFID card reader with a capacitive finger sensor.

How does a capacitive finger sensor work?

The capacitive finger sensor consists of two layers of conductive material separated by a layer of insulation. When a finger touches the surface of the sensor, there is a change in capacitance that is detected by the sensor's electronics, which converts the change in capacitance into an electronic signal, which is then analyzed by a microcontroller and precisely matches the data to existing data sets.

What is the advantage of a capacitive scanner?

The capacitive finger scanner is very fast, precise and reliable. It captures the unique features of the fingerprint (lines and ridges) and can identify them very accurately. Since every fingerprint is unique, it is almost impossible to manipulate or deceive a capacitive finger scanner. As a result, it offers greater security than other types of finger scanners, as it not only scans the surface of the finger, but also the underlying tissue.
Another advantage of the capacitive finger scanner is its speed. In a matter of seconds, it can carry out a comparison with stored fingerprints and thus enable access to front doors, rooms, gates or other objects.
In summary, the GreenKi UFR1 is a modern, secure and efficient way of identification and access control.
The speed and precision make it an ideal solution for anyone who relies on modern personal identification options and, in combination with the GreenKi SM module, on a high security standard.

How are the fingers and RFID transponders trained on the GreenKi UFR1?

1. Place the supplied master card once on the GreenKi UFR1.
2. Place the finger to be saved three times on the finger sensor.
3. Place the master card once again on the GreenKi UFR1.
(The process is identical for RFID transponders, instead of placing your finger on the RFID transponder once)

How are the fingers and RFID transponders deleted from the GreenKi UFR1?

1. Place the supplied master card twice in a row on the GreenKi UFR1.
2. Place the finger to be deleted once on the finger sensor.
3. Place the master card once again on the GreenKi UFR1.
(The process is identical for RFID transponders, instead of placing your finger on the RFID transponder once)
